Shaun and Lorrie are the caretakers of Conway Family Farm, where dairy goats, sheep, and chickens all share in the rhythm of daily farm life. Together, they tend the animals, work the land, and create the cheeses and ice cream the farm is known for—with a little help from their beloved goats, affectionately known as “The Girls.”

They find joy in both the work and the creativity of farming—raising animals, growing gardens, and sharing the beauty of farm life with others.

Shaun

Shaun grew up spending his childhood alongside his grandfather, a skilled carpenter and craftsman. That early experience shaped his lifelong ability to build, repair, and maintain just about everything on the farm. He is the steady hand behind the structures, systems, and daily maintenance that keep the farm running smoothly.

Lorrie

Lorrie brings creativity and flavor to the farm, crafting seasonal cheeses and gelato-style ice creams from their fresh goat milk. She also designs and tends the gardens, and is always dreaming up new ideas to make the farm more efficient, beautiful, and enjoyable—ideas Shaun is usually happy to bring to life.

Life on the Farm

Shaun and Lorrie both work full-time off the farm, so every part of farm life is carefully balanced and intentionally managed. Together, they share responsibilities to ensure the animals are well cared for, the land is respected, and the farm remains a sustainable, working business.

At the heart of everything they do is a belief that the farm is something they have been entrusted with—something to care for thoughtfully and pass along in better condition than they found it.

They feel deeply grateful to live this life together, combining hard work, creativity, and a shared love of animals and land, while joyfully sharing the farm’s bounty with their community.
