Lorrie
Conway, who currently operates Conway Family Farms, LLC with her
husband Shaun, holds a BS in Business and Management and has
been actively farming for her entire life. As a
multi-generational farm family, Lorrie was raised on a beef
cattle production operation and began with dairy goats and sheep
in 1974, which she continues with in her own operation today.
In addition to the farm, Lorrie has operated a Business
Management and Accounting practice for more than 22 years
offering a wide variety of business services including
operational changes, business planning, accounting systems
set-up and design and tax services. Lorrie's infectious
enthusiasm about farming and decades of business expertise have
provided opportunities for speaking engagements to groups of all
sizes and on a myriad of topics related to small-scale farming,
marketing, and business management. In addition to
speaking engagements, Lorrie offers one-on-one consulting for
individuals with specific needs for their farming operation. |

We are always happy to share our successes (and failures) with
others in an effort to encourage small farming. Although we do
not claim to have all the answers, we can say, with confidence,
that we experts at what we do; however, what we do is
constantly evolving and changing in an effort to improve.
We make every effort to be
completely transparent about our operation to provide an
accurate picture of what costs and demands are involved at our
farm. No question is too personal.
Because time is at a premium
and experience is valuable, mentoring, consulting and speaking
engagements will be at a cost to those benefitting. Please
contact the
farm to discuss your individual needs and inquire
about costs for these services. |
