Beautiful Border Leicester sheep are hard to resist. The stately appearance of these graceful animals makes it easy to understand why The Queen of England used them as lawn mowers in the early 1800's. They are stunning!
We have been breeding Border Leicesters since 1995 and all of our
animals are purebred, registered and show quality. Our original animals were
from Pennsylvania offering us new bloodlines to the Pacific Northwest.
We test annually for OPP (Ovine Progressive Pneumonia) and are happy to provide our most current years results (all negative) to any interested buyers. Our flock is free of abscesses and foot rot and we exercise extreme caution during our show season to ensure the continued health of our animals.
All of our ewes are excellent mothers and produce exquisite fleeces for the hand spinner as well as commercial purposes. Our primary focus with out sheep is the production of wool, however, our lambs finish to perfection offering tremendous flavor and marbling for those seeking excellent lamb for their table.
