WHAT WE DO
We maintain a herd of about 25
registered dairy goats which provide our farm with a
Grade A Raw Milk dairy status. 2009 will see the opening of our new
cheese
processing facility and we will begin producing fresh chèvré for all to
enjoy. In addition to the dairy goats, we maintain a flock
of about 20 registered Border Leicester sheep. The
wool from the sheep is crafted
into a variety of wonderful products. and of course, each year provides
us with a limited supply of all-natural, grass-fed
lamb and goat meat. As well
as the sheep and goats, we maintain honeybees , a small commercial
U-Pick blueberry field, and a
small commercial lavender field. Each of these enterprises provide
support and components to one another creating a sustainable unit.
We take as much pride in the products produced
from our farm as we do in the appearance of our farm making this a favorite
place to visit for field trips, senior tours and
unique weddings and receptions.
